New “Fun Stuff” Information Added to RCA Website!

We’ve decided to add some information about fun or interesting things pertaining to wireless.  So you will find under the “Fun Stuff” tab at the top of our Web pages, a number of interesting things.

First, thanks to member and former director Bob Walsh, we discovered a video about the Russian Woodpecker, the over the horizon radar that they used during the Cold War.

Next you will find an extensive listing of wireless or electrical museums in the U.S., and in other parts of the world, and one museum is virtual only.

During member vacations, it might be interesting to bring the family to one of these museums to show them “what wireless is all about”.  Be sure to check with the museums ahead of time because some have altered hours or are closed because of the pandemic.

P.S.-If anyone has any suggestions to add to those section please contact our Executive Secretary at Amy@radioclubofamerica.org.
