Board Elections


Each year, the Club elects eligible members to serve as officers and directors, and member input in identifying candidates is encouraged. You may nominate yourself or another member.

To propose a candidate, please review the Board of Directors Roles and Responsibilities linked below and complete the Nomination Form.

Consider Running for the RCA Board of Directors

Serving on the Board is an opportunity to contribute your leadership, insight, and experience to help guide RCA’s future. Board members play a vital role in shaping strategy, supporting members, and advancing the mission of the organization. If you are committed to making a meaningful impact, we encourage you to run for election.

Our Board Positions:

President

This individual guides the organization in it's endeavors and strategic plans. They call and chair meetings of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors. They provide oversight for organization committees and work groups. They are the official "face" of the organization during their tenure.

 

Executive Vice President

This individual is a member of the Executive Committee and attends all meetings of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors. They undertake leadership roles as requested by the President. They will ascend to the Presidency upon completion of the existing President's term.

Vice President

This individual is a member of the Executive Committee and attends all meetings of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors. They undertake leadership roles as requested by the President. They will ascend to the role of Executive Vice President when the existing Executive Vice Presidents ascends to the Presidency.

Vice President / Counsel

This individual is a member of the Executive Committee and attends all meetings of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors. They provide legal advice and guidance for the organization.

Vice President / Co-Counsel

This individual is a member of the Executive Committee and attends all meetings of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors. They provide legal advice and guidance for the organization.

Treasurer

This individual is a member of the Executive Committee and attends all meetings of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors. They prepare the organization budget, review the accounts of the organization on a timely basis, review the financial integrity of the organization's investments, and report this information to the Board of Directors at it's regularly scheduled meetings.

Secretary

This individual serves as the recording secretary for the organization. They are a member of the Executive Committee and attend all meetings of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors. They maintain all meeting minutes for all meetings.

Director

This individual is a member of the Board of Directors and attend regular and special meetings of the Board of Directors as outlined in the Board Job Description document.
