First Call: Nominations for Directors and Officers Due Tuesday 4 September 2018

The Radio Club of America welcomes nominations for Officers and Directors for the incoming leadership of 2019. Officer nominations are sought for Treasurer, Secretary, VP/Counsel, and Vice President.  Nominations for a total of seven directorships are also sought. Nominators and nominees are asked to review the bylaws for more information, as well as the description of the directors’ duties and expectations here.

The nomination application may be obtained here.  Alternatively, nominators may self-nominate by filling in the form themselves and emailing it to the Club Executive Secretary.  Any questions can be emailed to Chip Cohen, Chair at: w1yw@aol.com.

Please make sure nominators have discussed the process thoroughly with the prospective candidates, and the candidates are aware of their nomination..

The deadline for nominations is the first business day in September, which falls this year on 4 September, 2018. No nominations will be considered past that date. Shortly after, all candidates will be requested to provide final biography and position statements by September 20, 2018.

The opening date and deadline for voting will be posted soon, as we bring the on-line based voting system up this year.  RCA strongly encourages on-line voting and will only entertain paper ballots in extraordinary circumstances.  Friends, please help us use this modern and easy method—online balloting– for electing our new leadership.
